Well, just like many on here, the almost stalling and rpm surge issues with my BBK headers has gotten me too. Its been happening for the last few days. It seems to happen the most when the car is parked. The car sounds like its almost ready to stall and then the cars rpm's jolt up and surge. Its kind of very annoying so I just got off the phone with American Muscle. The customer service rep was super nice but had no idea about the issue. The rep said he doesn't keep up on the mustang forums and the issues that goes with the cars. I laughed and told him that Dan and head tuning specialist, Mike were familiar with this surging, almost stalling issue. I'll be resubmitting a new tune for Mike and in the comments section, tell him about the issue. Since the other members have had this very same issue fixed then I'm sure mine will too.

My MPT tunes (93 octane ghost cam idle and normal idle) are only a couple months old. Maybe they had idle problems in the past and have fixed them on their newer tunes. Just a thought

Sometimes when my car is either stopped or placed on park while the car is running, my pony will sound about to stall and then snaps back and the rpm's surge, shoot up and back down .

Dan,

Just sent you the pm with the order number. Sounds great. I'm loving the tune and the mods and I'm sure this issue will be taken care of with a tweaked tune and Mikes mad skills at tuning. Lol. I'm still loving the tune.

Well I got my new tunes back a little while ago and loaded them up. I also have to data log some stuff to help diagnose the exact reason the car is surging and almost stalling. I must say being that this was my first data log that ***** was confusing as all heck but I got through it. The car is still almost stalling out but the rpm's are not surging like they were. This seems to happen mainly when the car is running and parked. I sent the data log back and hopefully those numbers make sense to someone, lol.
