Pony delete grille with hidden fogs

So I just bought the black pony delete grille for my v6 from AM. I plan on installing it and then cutting as much of the old honeycomb grille out as possible on both the upper and lower grille. After that I think I'm going to try and install some hidden fog lights behind the grille.

Anyway I guess my question is has anyone done this? And if so any tips for mounting the fog lights would be great.

I seen one mustang with it and they blacked the pony out . You could not even really see the OEM grille .

Fogs in the upper or lower grill? If lower, then you should consider buying the kit that puts them in the stock left/right position (replaces the block off covers as seen in the picture you posted in the link). I have this kit; it uses factory pieces, includes the stock headlight switch for fogs, and as a bonus, you get the automatic headlight operation (all Mustangs have the sensor for this at the center of the dash; just need the headlight switch with the position to turn the headlight switch to).

I do like look of the GT fog lights in the upper grill, which is why I plan to convert my front bumper to a GT one. The aftermarket has not been there for GT type grills that replace our early, pre 2013 V6 Mustangs. in 2013, Ford went to the same front end for all Mustangs, so the V6 benefits with the aftermarket offerings.

I plan on trying to hide the fog lights behind the upper grille. I really like the look of the four big lights. So that's why I don't really want to get the fogs that go on either side of the lower grille.

Well it's done... I got the pony delete grille installed yesterday. Thought it looked great, but all night I was thinking about some fog lights. So I went out and bought a pair today and just finished installing them behind the grille. You can still see a little bit of the old honeycomb grille but I plan on cutting the rest of it out next weekend when I get back home. Anyway what do y'all think? Oh and I'll get some pictures of them at night on here later.

does anybody know why the 10-12 pony delete grill will not fit a 13 v6. I would like a pony delete grill but the only one offered on am for the 13 is the cdc and the roush upper and they are both more expensive! thanks in advance

Too new a car and ford confirned the 2015 to have a 4 banger so this s197 may be obsolete next year as its going to be the s500. So not alot will be made. All I can think off besides its still in the early market

Because the front-grill is different shape. You should be able to find a custom pony delete grill on ebay for cheap. Seen one there before for a 2013 and it looked pretyy good
