Coupe to convertible?

I know it probably cost a ton and it'd be cheaper to trade in but does anyone know how much it would cost to get it cut

Can't help with prices but from what I've been told its similar to trying to install a sunroof....has a lot of problems like leaks. It's probably just best to trade her out

trade it. Not going to be worth it. Will most likely lower its value since theres i factory convertable option available.

It will be very expensive. More than just cut the top off - there is extra support that the convertible has because of the lack of a hard roof. By the time you get everything done it will cost more than a trade in.

Yes it can be done

There is a company that will make your Mustang coupe A hardtop convertible with their conversion kit. It is a pretty slick conversion. It is in a earlier post on this forum. I'll try to find it for you.

Buy an older Mustang like an SN95 and save this one for only nice occasions or something. As Jim C stated they're built slightly different.

You'll notice the manufactures will release the coupe first then the vert.

That isn't a coupe that was converted to a convertible. They take a convertible and change the top to the hard top set up. Have to start with the convertible (and I've seen it in person, not a fan of the lines with the top up or the extended trunk with it down)

Haha I thought so.. All things being equal, I just don't get the same satisfaction out of a sunroof. .

Never seen it in person, but it doesn't appeal to me from photos. Mercedes does the hardtop very well like the SL550 or SL 63 AMG
