I mean when does it get to the point where if your not gonna track it, why the hell do you need it?? There is no where you can use all that 420 horsepower on the streets... I already have a hard time not getting in trouble in my "little sixxer".... I mean dang, its only 10 less horsepoer than a gt of a couple years ago, and it has a better power to weight ratio!
Where would you use 305 engine HP on the streets that our V6's provide?

I think its all great that we now live again in a HP war between Ford and Chevy. Keep it coming; we all benefit.

Nothing wrong with a V6, nor a V8. It's all in what we can afford, and what our priorities are. For me, the V6 does it with plenty of go power, plus the MPG advantage, and a possible insurance break. But getting high 20's in the MPG range in a V8 is great too!

And I'm thinking the possible turbo 4 that is rumored for the 2015 Mustang would be no slouch either.

A four banger, factory turbo with say 320 HP and factory 8 psi boost would rock. One could easily turn that boost up since Ford designed the engine to fit the turbo and it would be a beast. I know my buddy had a Evo and his ***** was running 20 to 25 psi boost.

I'd want at least a v6 with it. Cuts out the work I gotta do in the future. I'd be happy as long it was almost Aftermarket quality

Its all about technology. A GT will ALWAYS be better than a V6 if they have the same technology. The 2013 GT vs the 2013 V6 has NO COMPARISON. That's due to technology and advances. The same goes for classics, fox bodies, sn95, s197, etc. I'm sure the 2020 or whatever v6 will be better than the 2014 GT, its just a matter of time. So Its not fair to say V6 is better than a 15 year older V8. The point is, we all have Mustangs, they are the ***** and we are proud owners of true american muscle. Oh..... and we are better thatn Camaros :p

No doubt. He sure didn't deserve to own any car let alone a Mustang GT.

Wow, is this true that the dealers will replace the transmission fluid?! I ordered mine (2014 GT Premium) this week. Do they replace it with a "better" fluid ?

Reliable cars seem to be owned by responsible and proactive drivers... Funny how that works.

Buy an s2000, I have had nothing but problems with my 2012 mustang thus far. I miss my 03 honda accord so much. Only needed a started motor and oil changes after 127, 000 miles.

Wow, jazzyfizzle really hates Mustangs.

I'm sure she can find a nice 2003 accord to trade her Mustang in on. They were good cars and I'm sure there has to be one on auto trader or E-Bay just waiting for a new owner that will love and Cherish it for a long time coming.

Replaced: 2 front lower control arms, 2 rear lower control, 1 rear shock, connecting rod bushings, rear sway bar and bushings, both front sway bar bushings and end links. This is in 21000 and my car has been well looked after, never done a burnout or doughnut. And let me tell you, ford has treated me like ****. I know I have a rare case, but still.

Sorry to hear you have all that going on.

I'm guessing you had that all done under warranty. I also have a 2012 and so far it is perfect.

My neighbor bought a brand new accord in 2012 and his engine seized up at 18,000 miles. Honda replaced the engine with a new one. When he went to pick it up he asked about trading it for another accord (2013) They actually told him he would take a great loss due to it did not have the original engine. He traded it on a 2013 Buick.
He loves the Buick and hates the Honda dealer.

Before you ask, The first thing the AAA guy did was to check and verify the car had oil. It was changed by the dealer at 10,000 miles. They never said why the engine froze up.
