Nice! Limos are pretty awesome, they just get a bit hairy to see out of at night when it's raining esp. Love the blacked out windows with the gray though, definintely makes a huge difference.

Ah man. Been there done that. 5% not worth it. The past couple years they've really started to tare people a new one for ANY tint on the front windows.

Yea in Cali anything that looks wrong on a car is going to get the wrong attention from cops. I've gotten a few fix it tickets for window tint in the past.

Lol that reminds me of a comment a buddy of mine said a CHP officer said to him one time. He got pulled over and the cop said " I'd be embarrassed about anyone seeing me driving this around too but tint on your front windows has got to go. " ( lowered 90's beater Honda with muffler delete) my buddy was going to fight it but the cop used a meter to read the tint level. Lol he was do pissed.

Well that's uncalled for a cop to say that. Maybe the exhaust caught his attention, but I know in my town if you're car attracts cops attention most likely they are likely to stop you.

Meh, it's pretty common in So Cal for cops to give you a hard time especially if you drive any kind of modified import. They're a plague out here. Mor so in the Inland Empire ( Riverside, Ontario all the way down to Temecula and Hemet. ) LA has them pretty bad as well.

PS: I totally just realized I high jacked the thread. My bad.

While I think dark tint is great for the "stealth look", I put myself in the shoes of a policeman. If you were he/she, would you want to walk up to a vehicle you cannot see into? Not me with all the crazy's we have these days. This is why most states regulate the percentage of tint is allowed. Cops have to be able to see into a vehicle for their protection.

You better not come to Florida

You can have as dark as you want on the rear glass and just get a ticket if it is to dark.(Unless you have two side mirrors) If your side windows are as dark as your's are you not only get a ticket but if you don't have a good scraper to get the tint off on the spot your car will be towed away. (Up to the police officer) No tint allowed on the windshield at all. They really don't enforce it but a banner across the top of the front glass is illegal as well as anything hanging from the inside rear view mirror and a GPS suctioned cupped the the windshield can also get you a ticket.

But I do gotta say your car looks great with the dark tint.

For those who drive around with your windows down, what are you going to do when the officer asks you to roll up you windows? An officer has the right to check all of your windows.

Here's a site that posts the legal percentage of tint allowed for each state:

Welcome to TintLaws.com

Also, the windshield can be tinted, but only from the top down so many inches (sites also mention this) or to the marked "AS1" lines imbossed on the windshield.
