Really? Bummer, I just submitted for a hybrid. I really like the performance tune. The regular race tune didn't feel any better. Felt like thick paste down low and then would just wind right up to redline. I feel a smoother "punch" with the performance tune.

Maybe it's just me but with the hybrid tune I felt like I got a little more initial oooomphhh when I hit the go pedal, but to me all the tunes really wake up the car so I don't know. How you liking those 3.73's I got mine in but haven't had them installed.

I am the same way. I was not impressed with the hybrid tune; I was impressed with the 3.73's though, I think I cried a little. I run the performance tune, I have not run the race tune though.

The only thing I like about hybrid is it does not feel as aggressive and I can hear my STEEDA cold air intake. But I didnt feel much of a difference.

Aw this is disappointing about the hybrid tune. Maybe it's been slightly overhyped?

I noticed a big increase in fuel efficiency with race over the stock tune and upped the octane to 93. Cruising at 50 I get 35+ mpg.

I would do 4.10s over 3.73s in a NA car anyday. These are my first 3.73s and they don't really impress me like 4.10s.

Love the hybrid.

Considering it is a combo of the race and street tunes I don't see what there isn't to like. I haven't tried just the race tune but am will tell you it isn't as good in the low rpms as the hybrid and the low rpms stink in the first place. I don't always floor it but I drive around town and I love the lower range the street and hybrid tunes offer. Ad then when I do get in it I have the upper range if the race.

I noticed a huge jump from the street and hybrid. Didn't try the performance or race (since I was getting the hybrid I didn't feel the need for the race).

I was stoked with just the 87s before I jumped to the 93h and then I was like : this is awesome.

I am getting slightly better mpgs. A little over 1.3 better. It was costing 14cents per mile and now I am spending basically a penny more to drive the hybrid tune in 93.
So $100 more every 10k I drive. Not too bad of a difference at all.

To each their own but any tune is a 100% improvement over stock.

Plus it will get you to pass emissions the race tune won't. You also get a little better gas mileage with the hybrid tune and have all your sensors on unlike the race tune

It did with me, because the race tune turns off your y band. Idk maybe the rules are just different where I am!

Maybe I guess! I remember one if the bama reps said that only the street & performance tunes would pass & the race & hybrid wouldn't.

Well I just got my hybrid installed today. Felt great! Like a combo of street and a sharper performance tune. It's nice.

I have never heard the emissions thing so when I go to get an inspection I need to swap to the street or performance tune? I am currently running the hybrid tune.

The hybrid tune is freaking awesome and by far in my opinion the best tune. The hybrid tune is the most aggressive tune that AM makes even more aggressive than the race. Love that hybrid

From what I understand bama says if u are running the hybrid or race tune u have to load the street or performance tune for at least 100 miles before doing the inspection.

Maybe I need to stick with it a little longer, I am really new to this mod stuff so maybe my expectations are too high. MPG wise I notice a gain, so I am not changing the tune but maybe I should ask for a more aggressive hybrid tune.

Tried out the 93 hybrid for the first time after using 93 race for about a month. Have to say I noticed a positive difference in accelerating and driving at low speeds. It had me hoping for lights to turn red. I asked for the most aggressive hybrid tune they could make. I'm definitely happy with it.

When my gas gets low I'm going to switch it to the 91 and see how it goes.

I've been using the 91 hybrid. It's nice. Great low end and real smooth.
