Red face is the Borla ATAK too loud?

im looking into buying an exhaust for my car but im debating whether to get the ATAK or the S-type from Borla... I don't want to end up getting the wrong one. the ATAK from what I know is pretty loud, but the S-type sounds much more balanced if you know what I mean. ive seen literally all the vids on the two on youtube yet I still cant make up my mind Also I want my car to be noticed! but at the same time I don't want to annoy people like those lil Hatchbacks with their ridiculous coffee cup exhaust(x
1 more thing. does anybody know were I can get a pre painted front bumper

I'm in the same boat, as far as exhaust sounds. I've scoured the internet for the right one, and I am pretty much in love with the Borla S-type. Personally, it's my favorite. You can't go wrong with Borla.

As far as the bumper is concerned... AmericanMuscle.com? I'm not sure, but they may have one.

Roush is like have a straight pype with a |^| in it. Put it that way. S type is about like a unpacked magnaflow street if you know what I mean.

After being in the same delema as you I choose the ATAK and I am very happy with my decision. At idle is is slightly louder then stock. As you gain Rpms it gets louder. At 3000 it really opens up. Once at highway speed it returns to it's normal low end tone. I absolutely love it!

It's a manual. But I'm sure it's based on the same principles.

The CAI actually roars instead of whistles, doesn't it?

I'd say it actually erupts when you jump on it. I am happy with the set-up and the growl.

I love my atak. If you like to cruise between 2000 and 3000s rpms they're hardly noticeable and when you want attention they'll scream. Honestly I've heard sounds from other v6s near me and they're good but I'd prefer mine more so. I got them for 350 so it was a easier bullet to bite than 700 plus. It's not a ricey sound at all it's not a v8 either more of a performance car European sound

it's all about what you want. I have borla ATAK catback and I like it. when you get on it, it's pretty loud. not TOO raspy like roush or bassani.

My first update to my car was the Borla Touring Model axle backs. Long story short, when the officer finished writing up my first speeding ticket in 30 years I asked where he was behind me because I never saw him. He said that he was on a side street and initially didn’t see me either. However, he heard me coming the road. Not the attention I wanted but the growl on my Borla’s are solid.
