I did a pretty good job with mine. Decided to keep all baffles in. Followed the instructions online and its amazing!! Only problem is that I think I am going to trade in my car. Does anyone with a manual want my intake tube setup with the gt sound induction tube as a trade for your stock air intake tube?

Regulations forbid manufacturers from using the exhaust system to produce the muscle sound many like. The sound tube gives the buyer what they want without compromising the exhaust system. Since cars are tightly controlled in every aspect of the emissions and sounds, they do what they can without spending a lot of money explaining things to a government employee who thinks a Prius is a high performance car.

Thought about doing this, but with my Steeda CAI it's not that feasible to do

Charlie Santos - great idea. You mention the engine nay sounds better OUTSIDE the car. Can you describe what kind of difference? Thanks

If you have a CAI, this sound tube is overkill. IMO, it clutters the engine compartment.

Lots of room. For activities! I saw one at a swap meet, but I didn't buy it because I didn't know how to install. It that on your crank case valve?i have a wiring harness for my fogs run into a little rubber grommet. I assume that's the rubber grommet you use

Just curious, any ideas of why wouldn't Ford include the sound tube on the v6 Mustang? If it makes the car sound better it should be a no brainer.

Not everyone likes them, and the V6 models are less likely to be owned by those who want the sound. A large number of Mustangs with the V6 are young women who are not into the modding of cars. The appeal of the Mustang has always been all ages and genders. To do that, it makes concessions.

Yep. Lots of the 5.0 folks are removing them as they feel they are lame. With a CAI, no real need to pipe the sound into your engine compartment.

Yes. You are correct.

My wife has always told me during our 30 years of marrage that I need to get "more in touch with my feminine side". I guess that's why I bought my V6.

"who are not into modding". I have the V6, but I am into modding. Sexist or not, facts speak for theirselves. It has always been so. Women have always been Mustang buyers, especially at a younger age. They just do not get into modding them as much. Probably only a small percentage of owners are modders to begin with, but rarely do women do any serious changes to their Mustangs. I know several with performance models, but they are bought that way.

Were just giving you a hard time bro. Lmao. Well I agree with you on that bro. Woman who buy V6 mustangs are typically not going to mod them.

Most people who buy v6 mustangs aren't going to mod them.

I plan to run this V6 to the ground, while taking good care of it, and then got the way of a nice, clean, traded in GT model.

Then repeat the above.
