Anyone have 20" amr wheels and springs?

Wondering if anyone has 20 inch amr wheels and has put in lowering springs? Does it rub? What springs do you guys like for a daily driver? Thanks.

U should ask this in rims section. You won't get an answer solely from v6 owners

Now my speed-o-meter is way off

Does anyone think a Tuner could correct this?

*******************************ALSO****************************************************

I think I now could use some 4.56 gears.

Lol, never mind why anyone would ever do this, but where would you buy such stupidity? I guess if you have enough $ anything is possible.

It's called "PHOTOSHOP"

Sometimes I just have way to much time on my hands. Ha! Ha!

I don't even like 20 inch wheels on a Mustang, I personally think 18 inch looks the best. Some wheels do look good with 19's on the rear and 18's on the front but not every wheel will work with that combination to look good.

Ronnie

PS: I hope you really did not think I would do that to a Mustang. Especially Mine !!!

When I was ready to upgrade wheels and tires I also thought 20's were a tad to big. IMO 17's to small and 18-19 look best.

It all started with a prank on my brother

He has a 32 roadster so I decided to put some big wheels on it with photoshop and do a picture.

I then took the picture down to where all of our street rod friends eat & meet on Saturday mornings. All the street rodders really flipped out when they seen the picture. It was a great prank and got a lot of laughs. A few thought he really had put those wheels on his car. (((FUNNY)))

Sorry Dshores

You can now have your post back, I got carried away. I would think if you lowered your car and added 20 inch wheels you probably will create problems you really do not want or need. If you can find some tires with really short sidewalls it may almost work but it sure will ride hard and probably bend a rim every time you go over pot hole.

I'm thinking about doing the Charcoal AMRs, 19" up front and 20" in the back a-la the GT500.

Just dropped this weekend. But I don't see it settling so much that it would rub. But here you go. 20 amrs and eibach sportline. Which is the 1.3" front and 2.0"back.

Just installed the springs this past weekend. So I've been taking it easy and barley driving it. Going to get it aligned Saturday and then I'll be able to let you know for sure

Running 255/35/20 fronts and 285/30/20 in the back. And I did install the cc plates as recommended by all for more than a 1 inch drop.

Cool thanks I just got mew tires yesterday. I'm just not satisfied with the drop I got now. By chance could you get some close up pics of the gap between your fenders? I'd appreciate it big time!

Back then front. Front almost looks like it would rub. But it doesn't. I really love the stance. Had a friend tell me he couldn't tell the difference. But I sure as hell can.

You should consider a larger rotor/caliper kit for these rims. The puny stock rotors look out of place with those wheels.

not that you need larger rotors to stop, but rather for cosmetic reasons.

Never even crossed my mind to be honest. But since you pointed it out. Lol. I think I'm finally going to pull the gun on a tune next tho. Just got done working 13 days straight and can't decide if tune, gt500 spoiler, then Uca's/ lca's. or gt500 lca's Uca's then tune. Omg omg fml. Which to buy first. Never thought this would be the hard part of having a car. And now. I am going to look into some bigger rotors.

Sorry to add to your list! I know the feeling. I just got my MPT street tune (91 octane) in my email last night...plan to load it into the car Saturday, then test it out.

My son works at a body shop and had a 2010 Saleen Mustang in the shop; totaled. It had the Saleen 20 inch wheels, with bald tires. They were mine if I wanted them. I drove up there to check them out...two had severe road rash, and the worn tires....I installed one to see how they'd look;I just could not get past the tiny stock rotors behind the wheels. However, had the rims all been good (no road rash), and the tires had some tread left (20 inch tires an't cheap), I most likely would have done the free swap.

Haven't heard to much about the mpt tuning. Just did a quick google. What made you go with them over bama or vmp.
