I think theyre hinting you need a Ford GT or Bugatti to beat the WRX.

I probably won't pro charge it lol but defenetily do exaust headers intake gears and tune and hopefully that should suffice evo's and subies are both good cars but you can't go wrong with a stang
You won't beat a modded wrx with just gears and exhaust. If he has the calibration dialed in on his car, and he can launch/shift, your gonna loose every race in the first 100 feet. Just go have fun. If they give you bs, ask them if they would like to race you on similar boost to what he is making.

A stage 2 WRX should have about the same power to weight as a 3.7L... So from a dig it will be a close race with the WRX probably taking the win only because of the AWD. But if the race is from a rolling start the WRX will not stand a chance as the AWD has no benefits in a rolling start. All you need is a CAI, 3:73 gears and a tune. You should beat him in a standing or rolling start... Those three mods plus install will run you about $1400 a lot less than his stage 2 set up. So his stage 2 WRX would lose to a stage 1 3.7L any way you look at it. The gears, CAI and tune would get you close to running side by side with an STI. Add a drive shaft, headers, X-pipe Catback and wider tires to the stage 1 and the STI will bow down to the mighty 3.7L!!!

After a little reading. If you had headers, gears, c.a.i., and a tune, it would be a drivers race against a 'stock' WRX. They run 13.3 - 13.5 'stock' in the 1/4 mile. So, after he mods his WRX he should be in the 12's. Just saying.....................

Get gears and make sure your launch is 100% perfect and you will take him easy. He only has the advantage off the line but you can easily horsepower out and kick his ***. Is it the Sti or just wrx?

Don't forget to have grandma give the car a great fast shove off the line. You should then take the Wrx with ease.

The WRX is high 13's the STi is low 13's... His friend has the WRX not the WRX STi stock for stock it is a pretty even race. The stage 2 WRX will be in the low to mid 13's... But with gears. CAI and Tune the extra Horsepower and add acceleration from the 3:73 or 4:10 will muscle the Stang past the WRX. Add wider tires and the STi is in reach.

The only WRX running low/mid 13's is the limited edition sedan.

Search YouTube for first 3.7L in the 12.9's... It is a red 3.7L with basic bolt ons making about 350 crank hp, stock suspension, gears on drag radials running 12.9 a nice wide street tire he should be somewhere in the low 13's running with the STi with plenty of room for more.

Full bolt on with upgraded suspension and good tires... The 3.7L is capable of running dead even with the 5.0... We know the 5.0 is a 12.7 car. For about $4000 our V6 can run with the stock 5.0!!! Now add a procharger and we are running and possibly beating a stock pre 2011 GT500! These little sixxers are bada$$!!! Best bang for the buck available!!!

Omg. Too funny. I read if you do a antenna delete you can pick up some serious time off and kill the WRX. But seriously, if you drop a boat load of duck sauce on your friends ricer, you will leaving him crying for he will loose.

Antenna delete makes it more aerodynamic + weight reduction that's like 1sec off! Yea duck sauce is a killer Forsure! Lmao.

See, that's what I was thinking. Antenna delete and the car will drop serious weight plus the wind won't hold you back when hitting the antenna. You could always throw some soy sauce on the track to make that ricer slip and slip with traction. If dudes friend who owns the WRX named Ben I will be no good. Lmao

Lmao!! Soy sauce might add hp to that wrx if it gets into the engine though! & If the wrx has stickers & a wing too it's a wrap that wrx will fly!! No stance for our little mustangs! Hahaha.

Ba ha ha ha ha ha. Omg, my sides are hurting. Then you have to resort to the oldest trick in the book of racing. Stick spare rips in the exhaust pipes and weigh the trunk area down with poo poo platers. Even with cool stickers and a wing is no match for pony power. Throw a Godzilla blow up doll in the ricers car and pony is back on top for the win.

Pahahahahaha!!! We forgot to consider the tow hook & the pikachu doll dragging on the back! Those extra 50hp are hard to beat!! Lmao. Unless we attache something to the fake tow hook & weigh it down!! But then it'll rip off the rear bumper & reduce more weight & win!!! Dam their unbeatable!!!!! Lmao!!!

My wife's cooking will really give a high octane boost to the pony if you throw it into the old fuel tank. I know my a$$ is on fire after she cooks so I can only imagine what it will do to the pony power. lmao
