It definitely looks good and gives room for lots of performance under the hood!

I have one on mind for $875 but it's cowl. isn't a normal ram air hood better than a cowl and the fiberglass one (ram air hood) is $1100 so I would be saving money if I went with carbon fiber

Probably wouldn't add any performance. Would definitely look bada** and maybe drop a couple pounds that could possibly help a very little bit.

Ram air hasn't really been functional since the carb days. The help from them is very, very minor, mostly just being a direct avenue of ambient air. Cowl will act as a heat extractor and add hood clearance, along with being lighter. I just went with the GT500 vent myself. Way cheaper, it functions, and it looks good.

Adds a bit more deck height space for some engine mods perhaps. Old school look for a carb/air cleaner setup. Reduces weight some.

Its the factory ford part for GT500 hoods. You then need the hood cut for it. The part itself is around $85~
