NY IAS

I spoke to a ford representative at the show in the Mustang Corral.

The new Mustang WILL be unveiled in January at the Detroit Auto Show
The new Mustang WILL NOT be a retro style

And, it WILL be an early release 2015, think summer 2014.

I didn't make this up, The "Mustang Specialist" gave me this (possibly) new info.

These are my fav kind of rumors...

Some guy at Ford display just spilling his guts to random visitors about a car that Ford has been as tight lipped as they've ever been on..... hmmm...

Did this guy at least give his name or title at Ford?

+1
He could have been just trolling you. It seems a bit strange that he would just tell any guy who walks up to him that info. Not to mention that a random Ford employee at a car show would know that.

Or the fact that a lot of manufacturers hire what are essentially models with some product training to be their representatives at auto shows from an agency.

Very true, a lot of companies hire attractive people just for car shows, they give them a script, and they go from there.

Could be true but all info "straight from the horses mouth" in almost every industry turns out to be a dog with a horse costume.

True enough, particularly where release or unveiling dates are concerned, but non retro styling is something we've been hearing for quite some time.
Either way, I for one can't wait to see it..!
I'm hoping for something 100% new but still distinctly 'Mustang..!'
