What size tires do you have? How wide are your wheels? Slicks?

Mustangs have a hard time gripping. My Dads GT 500 barely had traction from 1st- middle of 3rd and he had the Super Snake 10" wheels

They have a hard time out of the hole too. Yea I spun all through first but I have 285s by 10s but they are pretty heavy. I was gonna use slicks but that's not real life if I role up next to a car at a stoplight I got the rubber on my street tires. I still embarrassed 5.0s with slicks so I guess I wasn't too slow

Oh dude you can go so much wider with your tires! I got 295s on 9.5" wheels. I agree about your "real world" approach with your street tires. I do the same. Now Ive already had my *** handed to me by an undercover SS and an IS 350 ( that was embarrassing) I would love to have tje power you have to kill some of those V8s ( and 350s lol).

I know I can go wider I think I'm just gonna get slicks and call in a day. 305s will fit under there just really no need for a dd! Thanks though I've been looking into it but its just hard to buy new tires already!

Ya the 295s I have came with the Shelby wheels. They were of my Dads GT500 and they are just too wide and expensive for daily use. I'm looking into some 245/45/18s soon. I hardly get traction from the 95s because they are so hard. Need some softer tires.

Not much. Right now an Intake, tune and axel backs. Gonna get a larger mid pipe soon maybe upgrade the overaxel pipes so my whole exhaust is 2.5".

Oh ya forgot about that I have 3.31. I see no point getting 3.73s or higher. As it is my avg mpg is 21-22 with 19 C and 27hwy. Any less hwy mpg and I mine as well have a 5.0 (correct me if im wrong, 18 city 25 hwy 20-21 avg)

I got 3.73 and average 24 mpg and 5.0s don't get 18. I have a few fiends who have them and they hate the mpg. he is trading his in for the eco boost in '15. one of them gets 12-15 combined n the other gets max 16 combined.

Is it really that bad?!!! Damn. Well that's a buzz kill. No idea where I got the idea it got 18. Still, to drop from 21 avg to 18 avg and gain 115 hp I'm game. Isn't the Eco boost only going to be in Europe?

Ya that's my concern is the FI. I want the power but don't want to deal with turning anther N/A car into FI. If I can get a deal on installation that's reliable then ill consider it more. Wait so there's going to be an Ecoboost 4 and a 6 plus the 5.0? That sounds like too many engines if they also have the GT 500 too. I'm gonna wait to see what they end up with as a body style for 2015 and go from there. A boosted 6 sounds bad *** but I haven't owned a V8 since my 1970 302 when I was in high school.
