BAMA TUNES

Hello, I just installed my Steeda CAI on my 2011 mustang V6 and I love the performance gains and sound!! I just have one quick question, which tune is the best and most aggressive tune to be used with the Steeda CAI? I'm currently running on the 91 octane hybrid tune but is it more aggressive to run on the race tune?

Hybrid tune is the most aggressive. It is a combination of the performance and race tunes.

Trust me MPT makes much more aggressive tunes. I have both my hybrid and MPT Tune and the hybrid is slower

May be true but MPT is not nearly as reputable as BAMA. I know if BAMA screws something up there customer support is terrific and they will fix it. And this guys asking which BAMA tune is most aggresive...not MPT. Now let's not go off topic, again. I have ran every BAMA tune they offer and I feel the hybrid has the most power all around. Second would be the race tune.

+1 or try the 93 hybrid or race and get them to adjust the rev limiter and speedo

The Hybrid tune and the Race tune are going to be your most aggressive options! The Hybrid tune has a mix between the Street, Performance and Race tune, so that's probably going to be your best bet. I'm glad to hear you're really happy with your tune now but if you're looking for us to make it a little more aggressive we can definitely do so!

Just give the Bama team a call, exchange some datalogs and we'll make some minor adjustments for your driving habits! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you ever have any questions!

Sorry to mess with the thread, but CLamp, would you mind weighing your old drive shaft for me? Your inbox is full.

I am 99% sure it weighs the exact same as my 2012, considering it's the same drive-shaft. I'll attach a photo for you.

I'm 95% sure you are right. But, I would be remiss if I didn't check.

i don't know witch one to go with bama or mpt i like bama because every time you get a new part you email them and they tune it for that part and tune everything to work together and mpt i don't know much about them and i want the ghost cam but would it do any harm to the engine?

Bama can do a ghost can too. All it does is ruins your cats and o2 sensors

It causes harm to catalytic converters thats why they recommend off road mid pipes. They do however implement a safety feature to disable the cam sound if ur catts get too hot. MPT will update ur tune if u buy a new part. So long as its not a major part. I would recommend buying the tuner from bamma then buying a separate tune from MPT so u have tunes for life from bamma

Buy ur tuner from american muscle so u get tunes for life with them. And then go buy ur ghost cam tune from MPT. Instead of buying the tuner then buying the tune from MPT u save money bro

They might have thought you had the 5.0. They told me no way back when lol Prolly 5 months ago.

---------- Post added at 08:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:00 PM ----------

And BTW go with Bama hybrid or race tunes. They won't make you a tune that isn't safe for car unlike MPT. That's why Bama won't release a ghost cam tune for a 3.7 bc its not safe enough for them.
