I am partial to Borla.... Had Ford racing but didnt like it. Switched to Borla and will never get another exhaust... Deep growl at idle and great tone through all RPM's....

Borla but they are pricy but they make quality sound no matter what u do to ur headers/mid pipe.

Pypes sound great but get raspy once u add a O/R mid pipe.

GT500's sound great but not loud unless u remove ur catts which also free's up HP

JBA's sound freaken awesome!! Even with LT headers

Do straight pipes and add resonators and remove ur catts. Will up the HP and sound mean as hell

Flowmaster Outlaws are crazy mean but have the flowmaster rattling tin can sound kinda

Flowmasters American Thunders are all around mean and loud and do have the rattle sound but not much

Roush Axlebacks are loud and mean with stock headers and catts. If u add a O/R mid pipe it will get crazy loud and raspy unless u add resonators to fix it.

I have the ford racing exhaust and it sounds terrific. It has a nice, subtle growl in the low RPM range, and it roars in the high RPMs. In addition, I also like it because on idle it does not sound very loud; it is almost like a surprise attack to people.

I'd go with Borla S-Type for all the same reasons Nelson mention for Ford Racing Ms. Autoanything.com got a major discount on them right now too

Add BBK Catted Xpipe. That's all you need to free up some HP. Plus it's all bolt up! No welding!

What about pypes and an off road H? That's what I want to do. I just love those black tips.

I don't understand what all the hype is over the Pype's exhaust. They don't sound very good IMO.

What if the H pipe is catted, and maybe resonators welded in...should sound decent I'm assuming ?

I have roush axle love it I get compliments all the time. it does have a raspy tone some drone at 2k (80mph cruising) nothing radio on won't drown out and most cruise lower rpm. I got mine with the forum discount during an am sale it was very reasonable and easy to install

Straight through design. And cheap. I'm going with them mainly cause they are black powder coated. Not cheaply painted like the flowmasters

Any comments on MBRP Street catback system? I have BBK LT headers and O/R x-pipe with stock pipes and mufflers but the rasp over 3K makes it sound like I have a broken exhaust. A local performance shop recommended MBRP.
