Tuner cheating

Can a tuner be used on 2 vehicles. I'm assuming not, but could you unlock it and use it on another vehicle jw

It can be used on more than one car but unless you have two identical vehicles, the tunes won't transfer and it won't be much good.

from what i've read and buddies of mine have told me, each tune is written with the car's vin used, so the tuner itself can be used, but each vehicle needs to purchase a tune. this is how these companies keep from going under. don't be cheap, support companies so they continue to improve and develop product. not saying your cheap, but i know a bunch of people that are. gotta pay to play boys... lol

I did pay, but not for performance. I was going to give my buddy the money to do so. Just not have a physical tuner. If you see what I'm doing?

From what I understand not unless you have pro program you can't. But maybe I'm wrong... once you unlock it it sets your car to stock? All my other tuners have worked that way, unless these are different.

So I can't give him my money, unlock his tuner, get a tune for my ride, then unlock it again and get his tunes sent back to his tuner

From what I understand no. Your car has to be returned to stock when it is unlocked and then it gets locked to his car. But I'm not 100% sure though I'd call SCT

I checked it you can't do so you have to have your own tuner unless he wants his car stock and to sell his tuner to you
