I'm going to save up for the streets or some sort of borla. I want a v8 muscle sound, hence my lol said I bought a mustang. Not an import. Keep it American.

You can adjust that mid pipe any way you want. Still hangs low. I liked the powder coat. Just not the tone after 2 forreal. Just so ricey. Also the stock muffler weighs 24 pounds. Pypes weigh 9.

So, what's something low n loud? I don't care about drone, just the tone.
I think your best bet would be borla. If you want LOUD go with ataks! Some one had posted a vid on here of 3 stangs, one with pypes, one with ataks, and one with atak cat back and for me the atak sounded the best by far, axel back or cat back. It's just that steep price tag, but Imo will be worth it for you. Anything that has a similar set up to a muffler delete or straight pipe will give you a similar sounding tone/drone/rasp imo. Yes there will be very minor differences but it will be more or less similar. I'm very happy with my roush but if you didn't like the pypes you probably won't like the roush either.

I was thinking more of an S type. That cuts the cost a wee bit but I don't want to go full on atak. They are basically a single chamber muffler aren't they? The s isn't and more of a muffler. I'm looking more muffler.

Does AM do refunds of any kind on exhaust? I really don't want to even look t these pypes anymore.

That's what I always thought of the Pypes/Roush. They are just too raspy for a V6. Put em on a V8 and they sound magical. I would most definitely shoot for the Borla-S type. Those seem to have the lowest/deepest pitch for the 3.7 And the muffler quality is 10/10

I have the black Pype Bombs and hate them too. I've had them on for a couple of months now and will be taking them off on Wednesday. Just can't handle it any more.

You interested? I'd much rather have someone enjoy them than them sit in my garage collecting dust.
