The tuner will work but I believe u have to buy back into the free tunes for life for the new car which is 150$ to do.

^This is correct. The device will work on your vehicle, however the current tunes will not. You'll need to get new tunes for your 2013 V6!

If you'd like to stick with Bama, it's a one time fee of $150 to buy back into our free tunes for life program! Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

that's sounds great and not bad on the price, lol

quick question though, would it be stupid to use the tuner for my car but not have the cai installed yet, (lack of money) lol

No, I run Tunes with no CAI and don't plan on getting one either. With Bama and their tunes for life it is just an Email away to get new tunes.
