Guys I blew a speaker in my door should I go back to factory or upgrade...what's the size and how do I take the panel.off

Upgrade they are 6x9 in the door and on the rear deck

Thanks man should I really do the rear all bass is up front I have the shaker 500 unit...what's a good brand I was thinking kicker

If you want to you can kicker is a good brand. I never did the subs because they hit hard enough for me already.

I put Rockford Fosgate primes in my doors and rear deck I bought 3 way speakers so you get better treble since they have built in tweeters

They are much easier than you think. I think it took me longer to replace the door speakers than the rears.

It does not make as big a difference replacing the rears as the fronts but, it is a noticeable difference.

I pulled the deck pad off its held on by snaps but you may be able to do it with it on

Ok guys, you must pull the panel out from the back seat! it's not that hard as there are
two or three plastic anchors on each side behind the seat then you can pull the kick panel forward enough to get to the panel stays. Watchout for the glass! I installed Kenwood 3-way
speakers 6x8" and used "Turbowire" Ford speaker adapter # 72-5600.
