Please help!!

Hey everyone, I have a buddy who works for a Ford dealership and he has a Ford GT grill that he can give to me for 60 bucks. With the fog lights. Now he said he can only do it today. And after that it goes up $150. Is this a good deal? And how hard will it be to get the fog lights to work on my Mustang? Is it just a plug-and-play? Or do I have to wire up the new fog lights? Please please help thanks.

Here's a picture of the new grill.

Im guessing you have a V6? If so, you cant just simply put the GT grille on, you have to have the GT front bumper also.

With the 2013 you may want to double check, but Im pretty sure the two are different. My 2012 is that way. And no problem man, here to help!

No you have the same front as a GT. 10-12's were different. 13+ are the same.

Yeah the grille will fit fine. Like people have said the 13+ grille is the same between them all. $60 is a great deal, usually just the grille is $60 not including the foglights. Foglights from Ford are usually around $40-60 each New/lightly used, so jump on that deal!

So he can only sell you a $150 grill for $60 today only? Does that come with a pair of flame retardant gloves and a legitimate receipt?

Ok if you haven't buy it. Mine is after market and it looks legit. Mine was $130 with fogs and I bought the harness off stangmods for $189 and that VGA end an auto switch and plug and play. Even of you don't have the bumper, buy it. They sell like hot cakes for some reason. I love mine and te light output.

Btw I think both 10-12 and 13-14 are the same style cutouts for the cars. Unless I'm blind. It's odd how they cut out 1/10 of the light but I believe they are the same just one halogen, one hid

Awwww man everyone!!! Bad day for me. So I got the grille at 5:30. Went home and started to take apart my front bumper, I took everything apart and guess what!!!! Yup yup you were ALL right!! It's a 11-12 grille. The guy lied to me!! Took me like two hours of work and my bumper on all in Pieces. I knew it was too good to be true.!! Now I'm taking a break befor I have to start putting everything back together. This is really upsetting cause now I don't even want a grille because of all this work. Maybe in a few months I'll change my mind. Thanks again everyone for all the advice. Everyone on here is awesome!

If you do find a 2013+ GT grill to swap out with your 2013+ V6 grill, here are some other items to check out....

I snooped the 2013 owners manual, and it states the V6 bulbs are replacable, but the GT fogs are "lifetime" LED, and that you should see an authorized Ford dealer for replacement. This tells me that you may have to do a different wiring setup from your V6 fog wiring (assuming you had V6 fogs in your Mustang) to make the GT LED fog lights to work.
