Best Gears for 2012 V6 Automatic

I keep hearing that for my automatic 3.73 gear is the way to go. But I'm now starting to hear that 3.73 is better for V6 manuals and that 4.10 is the way to go with a V6 automatic. Can anyone tell me if this is actually true and why?

For manual I would say 3.73 but for auto since there is more power loss with the transmission I woukd recommend 4.10 gears trust me ur gna want them

Exactly. The higher 4.10 gears help make up for the higher parasitic loss of power from the auto transmission. I'm wanna be different and get 3.90s haha.

Have fun with the whine bro cuz the only company that makes 3.90's is motive and they are well known for their whining issues. Just stick with 4.10's from ford racing bro

Lol I was joking around about the 3.90s. I'm going 4.10s unless I change my mind and decide to go FI.

I have 3.73's on my auto and I have no complaints. 4.10's will kill your mpg though.

I have 3.73's in my automatic. I would have gone with 3.90 gears if Ford Racing made them when i ordered from American Muscle. I might go with 4.10's in a couple years but i do like my 3.73's.
