Just get the Pypes Bomb's and go with it. I have them and I love it. You might be louder with removing your mufflers, but everyone will laugh at you.

Might sound better than stock... But no tail pipe, looks terrible. I got the Pypes, and I love the 4" pipe sticking out the *** end.

Laugh it up, then eat my dust. I run 13.4's on the stock energy saver tires with loads of wheel spin, I bet I'm in the 13.2's with the new setup I'm getting made by diamond wheels. Just did LCA mounts to so maybe even lower

---------- Post added at 09:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:13 AM ----------

And the no tail pipe look has kinda grown on me honestly.

Usually wouldn't post a link that has to do with another forum but as you can see, 13's are easily achievable. I have the same user name on that forum as well, you can see my 13.400 on the list. I'm also on drag times.com

Granted, I am one of the fastest auto's and the fastest on the stock tires by a good bit but that was what I was shooting for. Next up is fastest auto on that list

This is the 2010-2013 V6 section buddy. Thats anything to do with the 3.7. Not to mention I answered all the OP's questions. I get on forums to provide information to those who seek it. Someone said 13's are barely posable, I wanted to assure them that it was very posable....

If you want back on topic. Why did you choose to have tips welded in instead of having a flange welded then bolting it on? Are you not concerned that you are now stuck cutting and welding if you ever want to put a different muffler on?

Huh? He was just responding to your statement "13s are barely achievable". Many many many people with modded 3.7s are in the 13s, some even bone stock! There is a video on YouTube that shows a bone stock 3.7 running 13.78 at 100+ mph. And I would say I'm impressed, 13.4 with stock tires is a DAMN good time!

I wasn't trying to impress anyone. I'm not a kid that needs to gloat like some others. I would expect to run well at the track, I go all the time.

I appreciate it. You're one of the few I've actually seen post times so far, and I know you've put some time and money into her.

For the lols, at least he is contributing something tangible. More and more threads get ruined on her by people just laughing and making stupid comments at each other for 3 pages worth.

I'm not being rude or making fun. Just never seen a stock tire run a 13 on the track. A GT runs 13, maybe 14 stock. Just never seen it. And this post isn't about drag at all... Not rel

This thread started out as an exhaust post. It turned into 1/4 times.

However, if the OP is not complaining of a hijacked thread, then it can be left as is.

At dealer today. I asked how changing my mufflers would effect my warranty. Service Manager said I can go Catbacks without a problem. No CAI or KnN drop in though. So I've now got a louder sound idea. Magnaflows!

If they get reported from the OP as a hijacked thread, they get cleaned, and warnings go out.

I tried mine without mufflers and my Magnaflow 'Competition' (muffler delete) are louder. Too loud, so i had to put my 'Street Series' back on.

ok so lets say I remove my mufflers, are they going to hang and I'm going to have to get something in order for them not to drag or when I take them off (unbolting mufflers), or will they be okay for me to remove them and that's it?

and are you positive it's not illegal? lol

right? I'm the same way man. lol

is the vibration bad in the car because my last mustang had cutouts when I had coins in my cup holder an I would drive off either normally or hard, it would vibrate but didn't mind it at all, actually loved the sound!!
