I get 33mpg on the highway whenever I'm not trying to hear the beautiful sounds of my exhaust

20K miles this last year. 24 mpg average.
That's rush hour traffic on the 405 freeway, folks. Only DC is worse.
Long highway trips are close to 30mpg. My best was 28.8mpg for a tank. I'd have gotten 32, but there was a a big rig that jackknifed and turned the freeway a parking lot. I just watched the computer drop slowly for an hour...

I track my mpg with Fuelly.

Trip from Vancouver Canada to Seattle and back. Just over 32 mpg. 7.2 litre per 100km. That was driving on average 75mph. Normally day to day mostly city ( Vancouver does not know what a highway is!) I get 12L/100 or 23 mpg.

Another guy on Ecomodder with an 07 v6 is holding 29.9 mpg for the lifetime of his car.

http://ecomodder.com/forum/em-fuel-l...vehicleid=2691

He has an automatic, and I don't think he modifies it at all. He has done a couple, but they weren't worth the cost in appearance. Good guy, pretty active on the forum and he loves the Mustang.

Very good info. I get quite the same values, except for one horrible difference : I pay an average $5.70 per gallon for my premium fuel

I lost 1 to 2.5 miles per gallon after I installed GT500 brakes to my sixer as well as the fully moded exhaust. BBK shorties, hi-flow cats and x pipes and dynomax tail pipes. 24 mpg per fill is achievable on our V6. Btw, I am using Steeda tune.

@Tangster Nice chart! How did you keep track of that? Did you use an app or anything?
