I opened up the exhaust recently (took out cats) and have been driving it easier so I should see a little gain. I still get on it at least 1-2 times per day though.

I do my best to get max fuel economy. Lots of cruise control and disciplined throttle usage.

I try also, but end up getting on it at least 2 times per day. And its 100% city daily driving miles.

Not even close to worrying about MPG due to heavy foot.

When I got my car, I got 8 mpg

After I got my first ticket, it jumped to 16 :p

And after putting in my h pipe, I average 20.4, I'm scared to accelerate quickly (I NEVER SAID STREET RACE, OR SPEEDING) because its ridiculously loud. At night time I rarely go above 3k rpm and never above 4k :p

I get 21.9-22 all city driving with a conservative foot with a MPT 91 Performance tune. My old bama 91 hybrid tune I would get 22-22.5 all city. The MPT when i first got it i only averaged 16-17 all city driving cause they had it set at a crazy high 2000rpm shift points for an auto. Then i changed it down to 1800rpm shift points then settled at 1500rpm shift points. With my car lowered almost 3 inches solid motor mounts and a steeda adjustable upper control arm I would get nasty hard clunks downshifting into first and second gear the first 2-3 mins of driving with the 1800rpm shift points from MPT it has completely gone away with my 1500rpm shift points now. So if any of you have hard clunks after installing your upper control arm try playing around with your shift points in the auto and see if it that helps.

99 mpg is right after you have reset the MPG integrator. People who have custom programming see that all the time just before they go to the dealer for maintenance

My Z28 gets that and it's putting down 430 rwhp.

3.42 gears and .5:1 6th gear super overdrive = 1250 rpm @ 60 mph.

As for the Mustang...

70% highway.

Is this for anyone? Last tank was just over 43 mpg (pen and paper), this was the readout. Kilo tank, ~638 miles. 14.773 gallons.

Luke 11:9-10 “So I say to you ...*search and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Not trying to derail the thread here but .... Do you drive the speed limit? How do you consistently pull down such high numbers? What am I missing?
