Question Rear Diff questions

Ok i know there's been 100 gear threads but I'm wondering about lsd.
I have a 2011 V6 Automatic (I think 2.73 ) I'm interested in grabbing a set of 3.73 Ford Racing gears (probably from American Muscle) and was wondering if the V6's have a limited slip diff and if not, if it's really worth the money. Also, what other parts would I need to install the gears (crush collar, bearing etc.)

Get the kit. Comes with bearings, shims, fluid and modifer. Also need rear pinion bearing. And yes it is lsd. Depending on miles you might want rebuild kit for lsd. Just did this about two weeks ago and love it.

There is a little white sticker on the right side of the gear cover that has the gear ratio on it. I had my gears changed at around 11,000 miles. They installed a new bearing and all new seals on the axles. Like Red Rover said, "Get the kit".
I must add: Our V6 Mustangs have the same rear end the 5.0 has..........Just saying.

These guys are right about the 11+ v6 Mustangs having a factory limited-slip! If you're interested in changing the Gear ratio, all you would need is a basic install kit. No need for a complete bearing overhaul with so little miles.
