My car is in at the dealer today because at 4k+ at wot in second and 3rd it feels like it hesitates ever so slightly but enough for me to notice. It's a 13 manual with 10k on it but I've noticed it very early on. I've run premium fuel and disabled the advance reach also. It feels like an intermittent problem as sometimes it feels fine?! Anyone ever experience this? Thx for any help.

Is it hesitant right after you release clutch and apply gas pedal, or is it during acceleration?

It's during acceleration.

I've never experienced that... Do you drive it to redline a lot? Do you have a oil catch can? What upgrades?

No I don't red line very often at all. Axel backs are the only mods done to the car.

Yeah, axle backs wouldn't cause that issue. Is it possible you sucked in some water through your air box? Only thing I can think of is bad timing, but that would be a rough idle and acceleration through all gears...

I have felt the same thing, but in second gear. Its like it falls on its face for a second. My car is a 2012 v6 6spd with 28k. Let me know what the say about it.

Well they did a re program on the pcm I believe, its a recall that affected certain 2013 models. I don't have the paper on me at the moment to give you more info, I think it was 12e06. Got it back and had to put gas in it because it was on e so I put 94 in it and it feels great, not sure if its the the higher octane gas or the re programming. I just put some regular in it now and ill make a few runs and let u know my findings.

****Update***** So I just took it out with some 87 and it still happens at high rpm (wot). It is very minor but I do feel it, I do get an exhaust smell in the car about 5 seconds after I let off. Is it possible I have a small exhaust leak before the cats that could be causing this issue?
