Bama 93R Tune

For you guys that have this tune, do you have any hesitation when shifting at redline during WOT? Automatic by the way.

I just got my tuner an loaded up the 93 tune but there is about a one second hesitation then It kicks you in the pants during the shifts.

Yea that always happened to me Idk why they do that. I always told them to drop it about 200 rpm to barely tap red line and I liked it better

Yes it will make a difference and cause issues. You can't run lower fuel grade than what the tune is for. One can always go up in fuel grade but never down. Have them make a 91 octane tune . Problem solved

Have them make you a 91 octane tune. Never run a tune for a high octane with lower octane fuel.

Call would be the best for you but I would still only run the 91 tune just incase you couldn't get the 92 gas

Regular 87 here right this second is anywhere from $3.09-3.29. Since I got my tuner I have only put ethanol free 93 octane in my car. And it cost me $3.99/gal every time but once(6 months). If you care about your car, 10 cents is worth it. I bought and pay for my own and I will not sacrifice quality for price. I will pay $1 more per gal every time to extend the life of my engine.

Is that what Shell "Vpower" is? Filled up with that last night and for some reason couldn't find the octane rating. It was the most expensive gas they sell though so I'm assuming its either 91 or 93
