Shift knobs

I've had my eye on the white resin ball shift knob from American muscle even before my car arrived. My question is do I have to purchase the boot as well? I didn't care for the gap on the shaft. Any suggestions?

AM is great, but not a big selection of shift knobs. Check this out.

The white shift knob will look awesome on your White Mustang! You don't have to run an aftermarket shift boot in order to run that shift knob.

Check out CJ Pony. Huge selection and where I got mine from, plus they shipped faster than AM despite being ordered at the same time (AM was 2 days later...). You can order a boot retainer to fix the gap issue.

Wow thanks you guys. I'm now agonizing over all three websites. I'm going to have to take a little time to compare. I liked the ones at the ford website with the logos. Hmmmmm so many choices. Thank you!

They took the same amount of time in shipping, however, AM had my order processed for 2 days before they shipped it. CJ shipped asap.

They had mine in stock. If something is back ordered, it's back ordered.

I just wanted to thank everyone for all their suggestions. I've looked over all the websites given to me thought about it and decided to go with AM with the original white knob and the retainer boot. I really agonized over the ford website with the emblems also very cool but ultimately decided less is more in my car. I think the plain white resin knob compliments my rich brown leather interior. Thanks everyone for your advice. I rely on this site for answers to all my questions. Thanks again.

Everything you need was with the AM, Shift ball and the boot retainer were in the box.
No pics of it but the white ball is what I have in mine.
