I did that. The resonators made them doable with LT

LTS are always going to be better/loouder, I personally think they have better flow because the air is direct it doesn't take as many turns as with shorties

And the piping on the flanges are the correct soze to the exhaust manifold the stock headers are too narrow for some reason so these flow easier without restriction

It depends if you catted h/x pipe, if its catted I don't think the rasp would be bad

Yeah that's what I want is a catted H and shorties. Y'all think that that'll tame the roush? And some resonators

OP I had the pypes mid muffler catback exhaust on my 12 3.7 & it sounded nice! I now have the pypes bomb & IMO I like the pype bombs more they're louder! I did notice a minor hp increase with the catback though but it was barley anything might have just been the weight reduction though!

Drone is more of a pleasant hum. Amd in person the are like the video but deeper. Doesn't matter how good your equipment is, they will still cut some depth. They are rasp but not as bad as pypes. They sound like a race car or more acoustic than the pypes. The chamber muffler helps this.

I'm buying some and adding the magna packs 16 or 18 inch

The chamber deepens it yet opens it up more. Least to my ears. They rasp I bet cause they don't have resonators and also the have a "muffler" which my dad says is more a giant resonator

The roush is the easiest way to get your car to be insanely loud and not sound like total **** at WOT if you have a stock mid pipe and manifolds

Exactly my mind set. I've heard the roush and they don't sound like pypes at wide open throttle. They rasp but its not the muffler. It's the engine because its a v6. I am buying a set off a guy in 2 weeks. PayPal has the 21 day hold period:/

Nice. They also fit perfectly with no hanger issues and the tips look way better than the pypes Imo.

The sound quality is great at any rpm and doesnt get distorted when paired with headers or a O/R pipe

I loved charlies set up with his Roush on, I thought it was the best sounding 3.7 I heard! I did extensive research before I chose Roush. For me it was Roush or borla but the extra $ turned me off.

Thanks!! And I had roush but they were too loud for me haha I went with straight pipes for a few months then just recently got pypes. This was all with Headers and catted xpipe, and 5.0 resonators

I've had both the roush and Borla s type.

Like Charlie said the difference is the Borlas sound great at every rpm and don't distort at all. They also have no drone and sound killer at all rpm.

The roush sound amazing at WOT but kinda ****ty at part throttle. They rasp when shifting gears at part throttle.

Overall though I liked my roush exhaust even now that I have the Borlas I don't think I would pay for the Borla over the roush.

Roush would sound great with some resonators welded in I'm sure

Touring is a nice deep rumble with headers. Definitely worth it. I would get them but I'm not a fan of the 4.5" tips. Too big and gaudy for me.
