First off, welcome to the forums. As for your question, it all depends on what kind of sound you're going for (loud, raspy, deep, etc.) and what kind of budget you have. What I can say is use the search feature for the forums. There are literally hundreds of exhaust threads on here for the 3.7L V6, most of which have links to sound/video clips that give you a great idea of how each exhaust setup sounds. Another good tool is YouTube.

I don't believe there is the best exhaust. That's a individual preference and an opinion on what's the best exhaust. You will get 100 different answers on this topic. Me personally, I think Flowmasters sound the best on Mustangs. Depends on what you are trying to accomplish?

I just straight pipes my 2012 and I love it but get some nice tips that have resonators in them or add resonators before the tips. It will help reduce the rasp
