Light Covers - Yes or No?

So I'm debating getting front and rear removable light covers. I know all the BS behind them and I rarely drive at night so that's not a problem. I was just curious if any of you guys had them and if so how do you like them. I swear I saw Charlie's stang on AM with them on it

I have them they look good. You don't need to take off the rear covers at night and it takes 30 secs to put on and take off the front covers.

I wouldn't recommend the covers. They're kinda a PITA.

Good for car shows, and being removable, it allows for being within the law. In Florida, you have to operate your lights when it rains (we get some heavy thunderstorms in the summer). If the covers are on, this would defeat that purpose, unless you pulled over and removed them.

My rule that I try and follow is to keep the police from having an excuse to pull me over. If it's not within the law, I try to avoid it.

Covers are horrible.. It looks cheap and in my opinion takes away from the car.. I would rather do tint..

I had them and pretty much tried to give them away and no one wanted them.. Plus the with the wind blowing in between it can leave some scratch marks around the taillights.

Covering up your lights, extremely dark window tint, Blue accent lights outside of your car is only asking for trouble with the Police.

All I know is I love the looks of the headlights as well as the tail lights on my 2012 MCA and they sure don't need to be covered up.

please don't get cover ;p
they look cool during the day, but during night-time, they are tacky as anything. they severely restrict light output. and if you've got HID's, you'll see the 3 spots where the covers stick on.
IMO it's not worth it. either smoke your lights, go with nite shade, or get them tinted.

Looks great on the dark car

But it does not look good on the red car. The dark car allows the dark headlights and tail lights to blend in. Not so on the red car.

It will look good on your back car

I just don't think that dark lights look good on any light colored car. That is my opinion but it is up to the car owner if they want tinted or covered lights.

On a black car like yours they would blend in and add to the all dark looks.

Did you have both? Which do you like better? Do you still have the sprayed ones? For sale?

I just put the raxioms on today but I love the way they look there not as dark as my sprayed oem's. ya I'd probably sell them I don't need them any more.
