Ok, so it seems that LT's are the way to go... Next question, could I get some pro's and con's for the chrome vs ceramic. I know the ceramic run cooler, it are they worth the extra $$$?

Ceramic coated can withstand more heat, is better quality, and will last longer.

Shorty fan for life!

But seriously, look at the stocks vs shorty. The tubing is different in that it actually looks like a mini header so therefore something is there for exhaust not besides 3 little holes

Any gain is better than no gain. Plus they are what? $600 cheaper since with long tubes you gotta buy a new midpipe?

Lmfao 3hp gain for 350 is not worth it. And that price only applies for ppl without hook ups :p I laid 400 flat for my headers and catted xpipe LOL

I'm gonna do Borla ABs and then some kind of mid pipe. probably h for the sound and then do headers. I'll probably need some kind of resonators

I'll look into that. how much of a difference did your headers make? like acceleration wise? was it slower off the line cuz of the loss of torque? I want to get them but can't justify the price tag

Most will buy new. Not used. I believe it was like $500 for headers and then a catted X was like $3-400.

I've ward them on 99-09 models. Yes it's two different engines. But they have that lope that LNG tubes have but not as pronounced. Not sure on performance, but to me, 305 with all mods is just fine with me.

The off road pipe from lethal performance is too short. Just ask alrefire. It sounds just ugly near redline but 4-1000 is sex

If I got the catted x pipe with the lt headers, would that pass the Cali visual? Welding cats onto a off road pipe will cost just as much.

if I have a choice between headers and x pipe or full suspension (shocks struts lowering springs sway bars panhard bar etc. ) which one should I go with? I'm ignoring appearance for right now-focused mainly on performance.

So with headers you need a tuner. So you will with shorts. So there are gains

I just thought of this driving home. If you gotta tune it to run right, it's going to show a gain since the stock or other tune can't handle the add on. Therefore this is a gain and of course sound. So they are not a waste of money then and they also keep temps cooler if going with ceramics
