So I got a used c&l and it came with two extra filters specter my question is would the spectra be better? The c&l filter wasn't even used by the last owner and the spectre was instead

Shouldn't matter. Keep the unused filter as a spare I suppose.

It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

Be careful with the spectre filter because the metal piece at the end of the filter can heat up & burn into the wires that are right next the filter! This happened to me & I had to cut & rewire it. It does work really well for getting in a lot of air but if ur gonna use the spectre one I would recommend u cover up the cables with electrical tape!
