new exhaust

Hey guys, just got my mustang a week ago and am just thinking about what i should do to it. I am looking to getting either a flowmaster or magnaflow setup and was wondering if anyone knew if the new exhaust would cause any damage because the dealership told me if it damages anything those parts would be excluded from warranty.

Thanks.

Just a catback? No its perfectly safe and easy to install because it just bolts on and off but if you dont want to a shop can install it. And out of those two id go with magnaflow

Dealers will try to scare you out of doing anything aftermarket. The reason is that they what to sale you on their overpriced parts. BS.

Me personally I got Borla S-Type. They are pricey, but to me worth it. If you navigate this site, there are plenty of exhaust threads with links to YouTube video of exhaust sounds. I suggest you check them out before making a impulse buy

I have an older car but I run borla s-type and magnaflow x pipe. sounds great..but get on youtube and look and listen to the cars on there. there is about 50 different catbacks and each one has a different tone. find one you like best. volume. go slp loudmouths. deepness probably flowmaster, middle is magnaflow, and borla is pretty unique I think. just my opinion. Do some research and see what fits you best on you tube.

Usually best sounding and quality are more expensive. Just find a sound you like and make sure its stainless steel.

Goodluck! If you don't like it at first it will grow on you, don't worry. And get a tune!
