A professional custom dyno tune is always best.

I think it will depend on your current mods, its always hard to guess what you will gain with a tune.

Edit: But as the blue dude said a custom dyno shop tune will always be the best if you have a guy who knows how to tune.

Tunes are about more than just peak numbers. A dyno tune will likely eild a tiny bit more power and the, but it will also sharpen throttle response tweak a/f ratios, and get everything smoothed out safely. If your still building your car up, then get a mail order rune. Lund and bama are both good.

I have bama hybrid 93 now. I was wondering if Lund would make a greater difference?

Dyno tune from a good shop will always beat a can'd tune. A can tune is made to work best on the test car then they back everything off a bit to make it safe for anyone with the same car can use it.

If every engine were exactly the same then that would be great, but there not. Every engine is a little different and that is why you will never get 100% from your car from a tune not written just for you.

The dyno allows you tuner to craft a tune specifically to your setup. He can make the small tweaks that others can't and he can set the trans up the way you want it, not wig someone else thinks it should be... If your serious about getting everything out of your car performance wise then you should be looking at a dyno tune.

It's worth mentioning that you want to wait to do a dyno tune after major mods. You don't want to tune on a dyno then do a bunch of work to your car as your tune won't be maximized for your new mods.

Getting the car on a Dyno is always going to show the largest gains. However, a Custom tune from us is written on the Dyno so it will be very close to your average Dyno tune! Our tunes are written custom by our team every day and are constantly getting improved.

Let us know if you'd like us to look into your Bama tune, in hopes to pull out any additional power! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!
