I heard somewhere...

That the v6 has a governor that kicks in @ 120. Is there any truth to this statement? I would not imagine ford would do something so ridiculous but then again.

I wonder if there is a way to remove it. I do not plan to ever go that fast but if the life or death situation were to arise. The saying goes, it is better to have and not need than need and not have. Lol.

...There have literally been 20+ threads on this. It kicks in at 113mph. Buy a tuner and you can remove it. Done.

Buy a NEW driveshaft and a tuner. Then you can have it removed. Otherwise your driveshaft will become a bomb underneath your car.

I'll have to look those up. I am new to the site.

The time will void my warranty. So I will just live with the limit.
