No, their quality is going to be much better than that of most (not all) of the aftermarket. I will always buy a Ford OEM part over most others out there (again, there are some good aftermarket parts out there).

When you buy a Ford OEM part, you get the fit, finish, and quality of a part. Yes, you pay more, but you get what you pay for; pay less, get cheap. Then you end up buying a better quality replacement, and pay more then if you just paid for a better part in the first place.

So 1800 for 2 tail lights is reasonable?

Yes, if you want quality fit parts.

Or buy cheap and take the chance.

1800$ for OEM lights?? Its just like add ons from the dealer when you are buying a new car waaay over priced! That's where they make their $$! Its a light, not an engine. I guess its worth it to anyone who can afford to wipe there butts with 100$ bills. Not me!
