2012 mustang v6

I just received a 2012 V6 for my first car and am ready to start the project. Only problem I have no idea what to start customizing first? Any recommendations or ideas? Thanks guys.

Your first mid IMO should be a BAMA Tune from AM. It will give your mustang some added muscle with you put your foot in it. Plus they offer free tunes for life. So as you continue to mod your Mustang, you can receive free updates for your tunes

If you go with the tune + CAI combo from AM it will make a considerable difference. I can say exact the increase, but roughly around 25 to 35 more HP depending on your car. You would have to get it dyno tested for an exact figure.

If you don't have emissions testing in Louisville I would gut the whole exhaust system. Long tube headers, off road X-Pipe , axle back exhaust. It will help your engine breathe a lot better. Can't tell you the exact HP gain, but there is some. You have to pay to play though. I will say that much.

Still you should start with a tune and CAI. After that and some axle back exhaust, you might not want any more mods where HP comes in to play

Just go up to the search bar and search all the things I have told you. There are a countless number of threads that will give you all the info you need when it comes to your purchases.

Supercharger!

A good place to start is CAI + Tune combo. It really wakes up ur car. Them u can do full exhaust. Gears. Suspension. Depends what ur looking to spend & what ur looking to get out of the mods.

Will a tune remove the 115 limiter on the car?

I believe they turn ur wheels faster & help u move through the rpm range faster which makes u accelerate faster. I'm not an expert so someone correct me if I'm wrong!

If u plan in going over 130mph yes. If not I don't think it's really necessary but some people would rather get it for peace of mind.

What brand turbo is it? Is it the full kit? Well the only turbo out for our engine is from hellion & it runs for 5k-6k.

I wouldn't really trust a no name universal turbo on my car but that's just me.

Exactly. I would not even trust a brand name turbo for $150 in the first place

I'm pretty sure what you are seeing for $150 is the actual kit minus the actual turbo itself.
