Oh, thanks. As opposed to naturally aspirated. I get it now. Yeah, that could make a vast improvement and easily allow you to get 4s.

Definitely been modded mine is boss. I agree , to get the v6 in the 4 second range your gonna need to be modded, but some simple bolt on mods , No FI needed to get in the high 4's. I haven't dyno my pony but according to people on the forum with the same mods my pony would be 300 HP to the wheels or just a tad over. The v6 are running 5.1 to 5.2 0-60 mph with 3:31 gears stock all day long with no mods. I was running 5.4 0-60 mph prior to my mods and that was with 2:73 gears.

3:73 gears are a huge part of getting that quicker acceleration and getting into your sweet power band quicker. The 3:73 gears will throw you back and a must have.

Oh yes completely agree. a stock v6 mt could do 5.5-6.0 easily. some simple headers, CAI and tune and a suspension prolly lookin at like 1.5k-2.0k and you're easily pushing low 5's high 4's

Mine has a CAI 91 race tune and magnaflows and the best I've done with my friend in the passenger seat timing was like 5.4 I'd love to be in the 4's haha

get 3.73 or 4.10s! you'll easily be in the 4s. 5.4 is not bad. my friends 5.0 auto does 0-60 in 5.2 sec. most 5.0s from what I have seen get high 4s low 5s before any mods. I don wanna get raped by any die hard v8 fan here but they are a little exaggerated when everyone says low-mid 4s. I know there are plenty of stock 5.0s doing mid 4s but just from what I've seen it's high 4s and low 5s.

Here are a list of my mods

91 Hybrid tune (sct, American Muscle )
Airraid CAI
One piece aluminium driveshaft from AM
3:73 gears
BBK ceramic headers
Off road X pipe, ( no cats)
Flowmaster axle back exhaust system

You will be in the 4's with that list of mods and giving stock 5.0's and SS Camaros a run for there money. Assuming they are stock not modded. Lol

0-60 times are 50% driver skill also. You have to figure that in. A good driver in a 3.7 can beat a 5.0 driver that doesn't know what he's doing.
