gears?

What else besides.the gears will.i need to purchase to change my 2.73 to 3.73.. it says $159 for 3.73.. but theres a combo kit for $259 with a complete gear kit..?? What is needed no.idea

I think the kit includes the pinion bearing and gear oil, if you have over 30k miles I believe it is recommended ypu get the kit

Get the kit. The pinion bearing is, 'most of the time' messed up when removed while doing the gears.

Get an extra quart of gear oil. Two isn't enough.

I don't know why in hell all these places sell two quarts of lube in a kit for our rear ends. I've changed my lube three times, and it hold 2 1/3rd quarts with the 4oz bottle of friction modifier. Just saying.......................
