Just ordered another mod

I went ahead and bit the bullet. I ordered the shorty headers. I want the rumble and the minor gains promised. Next up, a viper security system.

73mm tb

Since I am putting shorties on, does anybody think a 73mm TB is good investment or would it be a waste.?

The throttle body would be a waste as is shorty headers. No offense or disrespect OP, shorty headers are no gains over stock manifolds. Shorty headers look better but waste of money if your looking for any hp or torque gains. You will get no gains with shorties or the throttle body.

The throttle body would be something to consider after going FI. The only benefit you'd get NA is maaaaaybe better throttle response.

And going FI you want long tube headers not shorties. Always remember, our mustangs are like the ladies. They like the LONG HEADER, NO SHORTY. Ba ha ha ha ha ha

Being in California restricts me from going lt headers, So I went shorties. I'm doing it for the sound. Yeah I figure the throttle response would be the only benefit.

Can I just say this. And I'll leave it semi short and blunt.

I want the shorty headers for SOUND. I don't give a damn about performance. 305 at the crank not enough???? Everyone here is cool. Love y'all like my virtual family per say. Per say.... But we are all about power numbers. What about decibels and flow. They have the same tubing as the LT therefore will flow better and it frees up power and moves the power band around. I know my roush did.

I want the throttle body too. Not for performance but for the throttle response. Just saying guys, I want a responsive car and 305 is plenty of power for me. I came from a 02 v6, so this is like my GT upgrade. That's all I want to point out.

Whitelighting is correct for his reasons wanting short tube headers however for people like myself and others who are shelling out money on headers, I want the loud aggressive sound along with the best HP and torque numbers, which is why long tubes are needed. Nothing wrong with shorties for sound however when buying headers people should know the difference between them and its benefits they will get with long tubes over shorties. If someone wants actually power gains they can feel, long tubes is what one needs. If one doesn't care and want any power gains but wants a louder more aggressive sound, shorties is your bag.

That and my drone is already crazy for my DD. I love my roush drone but its as far as I'd like to go. I hate that hollow sound some set ups have too.

Are you referring to the long tube headers. How bad is the drone?

Idk personally but the long tubes I've heard on video drone badly.

Put it this way, if my camera can't pick up drone on my roush and they are almost over board, and a camera can pick up LT headers, that's saying something.

*i know, different cameras perform better, but as a general rule*
