Any 4.10 manuals out there?

I'm doing a gear upgrade soon and I'm torn between 3.73 or 4.10. Anyone have any YouTube links to 4.10s? I've found only one so far. Also would have liked 3.90s but I read to many complaints about gear wine, why can't we get 3.90 ford racing gears??????

I would most definitely get 3.73s in a manual. 4.10s would be overkill, you'd be shifting constantly and 1st gear would be useless.

I would have gone with 3.90's on my automatic if Ford Racing made them. I also have read bad things about the other company that 'does' make 3.90 gears.

I think i may change to 4.10 or 4.56 gears in a couple years. We just bought a new 2013 Ford Edge, so my Mustang will never be used for a long road trip .

Don't get 4.3s with manual unless you plan on having a street racing feeling all the time lol. I learned that out the hard way especially when I was learning how to drive stick :/

I just got 4.10s in a manual last week. First gear is NOT useless, traction is NOT a problem, I even have street tires too. My mpgs actually went UP. My car feels better than ever. I believe people who say 4.10s are over kill and you will die!!!, have never actually had 4.10s. Yes my car is a manual, and i can get rubber in 3rd no problem now. My car is a new edge tho and yours isn't.... Dont fear the gear. Sorry I had to say it.

I was going to ask your model bc that makes a lot of difference. Rear end gears are your last gear, but you also have to look at the trans gear ratios. They are way different in a mt-82 vs your new edge tranny
