Roush Valance Install Questions

Just ordered from AM and I'm debating on whether installing it myself or have dealer or bodyshop do the install. I read through the install guide from AM and Roush but I'm still debating. For those that have done it, how hard was the overall process? Any clips broken? etc, etc..

How to Install a Roush Rear Valance for a 2010-2012 Mustang

Any hint/tips/suggestions?

You can do it yourself. Just when put it on remember to do sort of a rolling motion otherwise not all of the clips will go in.

I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself unless you know what you're doing and you're fine with cutting up your baby. My shop installed the valence and exhaust for $40

Once you remove the rear bumper cover (required for 2011 to 2012 models), the three center tabs of the lower valance, right below the license plate can be a pain to pull off. Be patient and push them out with your thumbs. Many cut these three off, but then you'll not be able to re-sell it, or re-install the original if you sell the vehicle and wish to return it to stock (to sell off the mods).
I just installed a GT500 rear valance on my 2011 a few weeks ago. Did it myself, but a second set of hands would have made the install a bit easier ("gravity" makes the removal easy, installing required a bit of careful alignment with only two hands).

Thanks for the tip. The center tabs are the ones i'm concerning about. From the pictures they look like screws instead of tabs.
