Paint chip repair

Hey guys, I have a few paint chips and a rather large scratch I'm gonna try and repair myself. I've done a little research online, but I was wondering if anyone had any tips?

For the really small chips, I would recommend going to your dealer. They will sell You a small vile that matches your car based on its vin. Cost around $15.

So far today I put some paint on each spot and let it dry and then wet sanded it a little. One chip and one scratch you can't even see but one chip and the big scratch are going to need a few more layers of paint. Once I get some finishing compound to restore the shine it should turn out pretty good.
