Oh my goodness guys. Just picked my car up from the shop. I had the ford racing 3.55 gears installed. And it's freaking awesome! Made me realize how crappy our stock tires are though. If I accelerate to hard I can't even catch grip! Looks like some staggered nittos are in my future

Darn yo. I installed 3:73 gears in my 11 v6, have factory stock 17 inch tires and no traction issues for me. I can nail that pony from a dead stop and catch grip great on dry roadway with no loose gravel all over

IF you havent done it already, you need to change the gear ratio for the rear axle with a tuner. If you did not your car is not going to shift into the right gear. the computer controls the shift points for the tranny and it is programmed to the ratio.

The gear ratio change will correct for MPH, MPG and shift points for the new gear ratio just by setting it from 2.73 rear axle ratio to 3.55.

So will the odometer count different with say, 3.31 or 3.55 gears than the stock 2.73 because they are spinning faster?

Yep. Odometer and speedometer will be off because there are more driveshaft revolutions : wheel revolutions.

There is no way that's true. Unless your traction control is crazy good lol

I guess my traction control is crazy good then and got real lucky with my system. I can't say that my tires loose that much grip when slamming it from a dead stop.

Oh , I turn it off every time I drive my pony. The traction control gets turned off right away and almost little traction issue. I certainly get a nice chirp and maybe a quick spin but no traction issue that I have noticed. The tires grip the road and shoots hard off the line for me.

Hum, maybe my tires are spinning more than I realize. I don't think mine are. It doesn't sound or feel like they are. Mine shoots off hard from the line

It's probably BC of the auto. If I dump mine with tc on it will light em up and I have 275s in the rear. I also have a few mods I don't think I've ever driven without tc on. Is there an advantage to driving without it?

My only complaint about the advance track is that it takes too long to turn off! Lol, Holding the button for 5 seconds sometimes feels like forever!
