No Race no need for Race Tune. Race = less MPG
In fact Race without Race Tune = less MPG

It's kind of a mix between the Street and Race tunes. It gives you the low end power of the Street tune plus the high end power of the Race tune. I would think you could have it on your cobra.

I have already forgotten exactly what it said but it said I could choose something like to get rid of the shift points in my automatic or something what is that? I only chose it for the performance tune

I bet it does. I could be wrong and would love to hear from the guys who make the tunes. But isn't a race tune pretty much for long distance racing where it's not as important how quick you get up to speed but how well the car performs at speed and the driver maintains position? Yeah I'm watching the NASCAR Sprint Series!

Upper rpm ranges so the car gains power the most there. Trick is keeping it there.

Performance is mid range so if you get to 3-4,000 rpm it kicks and pulls harder. Technically performing better since this is a more practical rpm range.

All of our tunes are going to make similar power, depending on the octane you use. It's perfectly safe to use the Race tune all the time if you'd like and this will generate the most power! However, you won't sacrifice gas mileage... I get about the same MPG with the Street tune, as I do with the Race tune it just depends on how you drive the car!

Let the Bama team know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future and we'll gladly get you squared away! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Yeah I guess I feel it more because it does kick in at that certain spot. And with my gears it really makes a difference.
