Talking 'Little Red', got new shoes.

Got a set of Cooper Zeon RS3 A for my Mustang today from my local tire people. I've used them all of my life. All tires are pretty good when they are new, i hope the last half of their wear stays good. The factory 18's were unsafe the last half of their life . Here are some pictures of them. I went from 235/50-18 to 255/45-18. I know it is best to use an 8 1/2 inch wide wheel but they will be fine on my 8 inch wide wheels.

Still breaking loose in third? Or did you baby them all the way home?
They look good, I'll have to stop by tomorrow and see them in person

Just did some G-Tech test. My 0 to 60 times are now in the high 5's instead of the high 7's . I did run a 2.2 60 foot time, the best i've recorded to date. Still spinning through most of 1st and nose diving and spinning when shifting into 2nd (automatic). Still has a little give in traction when it shifts into 3rd . Overall i love the tires and do have a lot more traction than i had with the factory all season tires .

Not the tires but the people. One of the main people use to re-cap my tires while i watched him when i was 16 years old. It was in 1969 on my 1963 VW bug
