That is my GT. 4.6 3v Long tubes. Catted x. Pypes m80s and pype bombs. Without the m80 mid mufflers it would be nascar loud lol. Setup so I could pull the cats and mids when at the track. Loud and good sounding are 2 different things...

All of the clips Ive heard of long tubes on the 3.7 sound well... Like a 6 with long tubes.. Even with the borla systems. Curious to hear one with the resonators inbetween. Post a clip. I want to pull the trigger on long tubes but dont want it to sound like the ones Ive heard on youtube.

Here's a clip of Charlie's with my same setup except different resonators. (I have glasspacks welded in & he has 5.0 resonators) Mine sounds almost the same as this ill try & get a video of mine soon! Without resonators it's insanely loud & raspy but with them on it sound beautiful!

Charlie, I'm actually really impressed with your set up. I've been looking at shorty headers for put v6 to sacrifice some power just so I don't have to hear the rasp, but after watching the video on your exhaust, now you have me back to square 1 again. Haha thanks alot!

Ok. So it sounds pretty good. Nice job Charlie. It still has that crackle at higher rpm and an even order cylinder firing that a 6 just has. Nothing will change that. The GT resonators did tone down some of the harshness and rasp (I listened to the other clips Charlie has too / Nice car Charlie! I think it is an improvement over just running headers without the resonators and it does sound better than the other clips I have heard. Not a v8 tone but a definite improvement and pleasing to the ear.

I slapped on some GT500 mufflers before I stopped using it much and it sounds way better. I think gt500s are the way to go with LT headers. And dont forget resonators

I was going to do shorts, h pipe and gt500 mufflers. You think I should switch to long tubes and Catted x pipe with resonators?

I also have the Force II on my 3.7. I wouldn't have thought that tips make a difference. Now that I know, seems like a fun way to kill a little bit of time.
