Can i..

Can I install a gt fog light to my v6, but switch my harness with the gt harness.. So I can control the fog light power??

But i can use the stock harness off a gt and put it in my v6 and vice versa? ? Im getting my friends 5.0 fogs.. and he got a new grille so no need for the fog light switch.

I just spliced the gt plug onto the v6 and it worked fine.

Put the positive and negative of the GT plugs onto the original fog light wires of the v6. Basically extending the stock wires to the GT lights.

The V6 fog lights use a different bulb then the GT fog lights. Therfore, the plug that connects to the fog lights is different. If this is what you mean by switching harnesses, then yes, this has to be done on the 2010 to 2012 V6 Mustangs that want to run the GT fogs.

You still need to extend them. If you have fogs already get the starky products harness. Or splice in the plugs for the GT lights.
