Cargo nets are my choice, but you can make a box unit from plywood if you want something custom. Don't forget, the lower trunk trim has two hooks made into it. Great for hooking grocery bags and things to keep them from slinging around the trunk.

I use a 24 inch duffle bag. Has my jack(old one blew out), wrench and socket set, swimsuit and such, and my duster. The weight keeps it down and I still have good room.

I use those boxes that they always hand out at Costco. Their free and they work great. Ford does make a crate organizer though for the mustang trunk.

I keep the nylon rope, folding shovel, garbage bags and duct tape in mine.

You never know when you need to make an emergency shelter.
